Works similar as prior version. It is less comfortable but I understand the need to do away with the forever chemicals so I think I am going to continue it. The store generics are also using the new version.I happened to have all versions: deep clean (new version), prohealth deep clean (old version), and pro-health. The prohealth has the same comfortable feel (probably has the forever chemical) as the old version, just not as wide as the old version. I feel it was just as effective as the old version.

My previous dentist used to give me the sample of this floss and I loved it. since I changed dentist after moving, I've been exploring different types of floss but nothing was as good as this. after got the recent batch, wow! it didn't break it's clean any easy to use. love!

This time Oral-B did an excellent job. The floss doesn't snap in the middle of flossing anymore, and I don't have to pull so hard that my fingers turn blue. I've been using this product for years, and the performance now is noticeably better. keep up the good work
Lots of complaining here about the new formula but it's because they removed the horrific PFAS PFTE forever chemical that used to coat this to give it a slippery texture, all these folks complaining but I can't imagine how much microplastic and PFAS build up has accumulated in their body by using the old formula. This new formula needs work but at least Oral-B is trying, but they need to tinker with the design and dispesner mechanism, this was probably rushed after the bad Consumer Reports notice. For now I'm going back to my Dr Tung Smart Floss which still shreds in between my tight teeth but better then a body full of toxins.
This floss is the strongest floss my teeth have ever tried to shred. Really mostly with other variations I end up using more and more floss to get all my teeth flossed because the floss keeps breaking. NOT with THIS floss. It stands up to an entire mouth of flossing in one go! I also think it removes plaque better because a week of using it twice daily showed me that my teeth were less sensitive and cleaner for the experience. The mint flavor is mild and the floss itself comfortable to use. I'm a fan! I'll use up other floss I have but keep getting this in the future! This is the only floss I buy.The Glide in the silver package works better for me than the Glide Pro in the white or green package.It does not catch or shred on my tightly spaced teeth.You can get deep with this floss to thoroughly remove plaque.Before Glide floss was on the market all dental floss would shred, break or get caught in between my teeth or dental work.Highly recommend if you have tightly spaced teeth.**UPDATE 5/2025, what in the world has happened to my favorite Glide floss? In the original review above, I was very pleased with all the different versions of the Glide flowers and the deep clean in the silver package was mg favorite.I've been using Glide floss ever since it came on the market, no other string floss worked it just shredded and got caught.Now apparently Glide has changed the formula for all their flosses, this last package of 2 deep clean I bought a few weeks ago is nothing like the last I purchased, I compared them, the old packages I bought in 2024 as have any I have bought over the years was silky and smooth, flat tape that effortlessly went between all my teeth without getting atuck, shredding or catching . This new version doesn't even loom nor feel the same, it comes out of the container twisted and curled up and the texture is nothing like the prior Glide plus it is sticky and feels like its coated in a thick wax which I hate. I even went to the drugstore and bought an original (white pkg.) and the comfort plus (green pkg.) and they are now horrible too.I wish Glide would bring back the original that was silky and smooth instead of this new version which I cannot use.I guess I will be looking for a new tape floss that is not textured and awful like this version.Please Glide, bring back the Glide I love.I'm taking away 2 stars because this new version in no way compares to the old version of Glide.
